House of Polyglots Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: September 2026

1. Scope & Acceptance

These Terms govern the use of House of Polyglots (HOP) services, courses, programmes, website and related offerings.

By registering, purchasing or using a service, you agree to the applicable terms, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Course Enrolment & Access

  • Course registration and access are subject to the programme details communicated at the time of enrolment.
  • Students are responsible for providing accurate contact and registration information.
  • Course access, schedules, batches, classes and educational resources may be managed by HOP according to the relevant programme arrangements.
  • Enrolment, account or course access may not be transferred to another person without prior written approval from HOP.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

  • A cancellation/refund request may generally be made before the relevant course commences, through HOP's official communication channel.
  • Once a course has commenced, fees are ordinarily non-refundable if a student voluntarily withdraws, stops attending, changes plans, or chooses not to continue, subject to applicable law and stated exceptions.
  • If HOP cannot deliver a purchased course because of instructor unavailability or HOP cancels the course and cannot provide a suitable alternative, an eligible refund may be provided.
  • If a course is postponed or moved to another batch, HOP may first offer an alternative batch or revised schedule.
  • Recorded courses, eBooks, PDFs or other digital materials that have been accessed/downloaded are ordinarily non-refundable, subject to applicable law and the purchase terms.
  • Duplicate-payment refunds require verification of the relevant transactions.
  • Refund requests should include the student's name, registered contact, course name, payment date, transaction/reference ID, reason and supporting documents where required.
  • Approved refunds are generally initiated through the original payment method or another appropriate method; the time to receive funds depends on the relevant bank/payment provider.
  • False, manipulated or fraudulent refund claims may be rejected and may result in suspension or other lawful action.
  • Personal internet/device issues, scheduling conflicts, travel or other personal circumstances do not automatically create a refund right after course commencement.

4. User Responsibilities

Users should keep information accurate and up to date, protect account credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access or misuse to HOP support.

5. Intellectual Property & Use

Course content, educational materials, website content and related resources provided by HOP are intended for authorised personal learning use.

Users should not transfer, sell, reproduce, broadcast or otherwise misuse protected materials except as permitted by HOP or applicable law.

6. Third-Party Services & Payments

Third-party payment gateways, communication platforms, LMS tools and other external services may have separate terms and privacy policies.

HOP may share necessary transaction or enrolment information with payment providers and other authorised service providers for legitimate operational purposes.

7. Grievances & Disputes

Complaints and grievances should first be submitted through HOP's official support/grievance channel ( hop@houseofpolyglots.in).

HOP will review genuine concerns in accordance with its internal procedures and applicable law. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, available remedies may be pursued before the appropriate authority, forum, tribunal or court.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict a statutory consumer right or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

9. Changes to Terms

HOP may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, operations, technology or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be published with the revised effective/last-updated date.

Programme-specific terms communicated at enrolment may apply to that particular service.
